## Method and assumptions

Reuses the guide's exact-cent monthly estimate. Interest is the opening balance times the annual percentage rate divided by 12, rounded to cents. Payments reduce the amount owed, capped at the balance plus interest. Optional confirmed minimum terms use a percentage or dollar floor, whichever is higher, with the entered rounding. No new spending, future fees or scheduled term changes. Only ordinary purchase-rate balances are supported. Estimates stop at 600 months or an unsupported payment. Entries stay in your browser.
